Sew Relaxing Holidays is a complete experience: either quilting or Hardanger embroidery classes combined with a day away sightseeing (and shopping) in this incredibly beautiful part of Inverness-shire. Enjoy really good, home cooked food made with the best local ingredients. Even a relaxing Indian head massage is included.
Sew Relaxing is based in the village of Kirkhill, just outside Inverness at the head of the Moray Firth. Travel to Inverness is easy, Flybe and EasyJet both fly into Inverness airport plus rail and bus links are excellent. If required we can collect you from the airport, train or bus station or you can take your own car, we have plenty of off-road parking. The use of all necessary equipment is taken care of so you can travel light and all materials are included unless otherwise stated. Of course, if you want to bring your own, that is fine too.
There are no hidden costs; everything is included except for your food during the excursion. The price includes:
- accommodation and all meals (except for lunch & refreshments during the excursion)
- on sewing days, morning tea or coffee with biscuits and afternoon tea or coffee with a homemade scone
- use of equipment and all required materials (unless otherwise stated in the course details)
- personal toiletries
- transfers to and from Inverness as required
- transport on the day of the excursion
- entry to Cawdor Castle and gardens
- a ticket for the Inverness to Beauly train journey along the shore of the Beauly Firth
- an Indian head massage by a professionally qualified lady
In order to make the holiday as special as possible we have limited the numbers for each holiday to a maximum of five guests. For non-sewing partners we can organise golfing or fishing but you’ll need to bring clubs or rod. If you are interested in photography, you will find this is an amazing, inspirational area to visit. Any extra costs incurred for these or other excursions or entry fees will not be included in the price. Phone or email us to discuss other possible activities.
